Zoetic Eco Retreat will hold its first bespoke 6 day/5 night retreat this year. Bespoke is defined as: specifically made for a particular person. Our program was developed with a particular person in mind, perhaps that person is you. The program will be focused on transformation, a self knowledge college that aims to demonstrate that true freedom comes from regularly sharpening your most useful tool: your mind. Until you have tools and strategies to manage the natural inclinations of the mind, you are not free. Zoetic aims to provide a safe and supportive environment to foster the practice of MBSR techniques and other forms of modern and studied meditation methods, for individuals who are interested in expanding their toolbox, or those who need help choosing their first toolbox.

Integrating Science and Exploring Mindfulness

Through the use of breathing exersizes, solo and group self discovery sessions, art games and experiments, MBSR and other mindfulness techniques (which draw on ancient teachings that have now been studied and verified by such well established institutions as Yale, Harvard, Brown and the Mayo Clinic to name a few), Zoetic’s PRACTICE program embodies a holistic approach to wellness and personal development.

By leveraging strategies recently studied and verified by renowned hospitals and universities for awareness practice, Zoetic’s PRACTICE program, when adopted into a home routine, supported by your own values and beliefs, has the possibility of being, quite simply, life-changing. It’s simple, but not always easy. We are here to facilitate your self-discovery at Zoetic Eco Retreat, the place and program that was created bespoke, perhaps for you.

Building upon this foundation, the PRACTICE program is designed to foster a deeper connection with oneself and the world around you. Our exercises encourage participants to engage fully with the present moment, cultivating a sense of peace and clarity that extends beyond the retreat experience. Participants are guided to explore mindfulness in action. Each element of the program is carefully selected to enhance overall well-being.

In addition to the core mindfulness practices, the retreat offers custom movement programs and community support, creating a nurturing space for individuals to share insights and experiences. This communal aspect ensures that participants not only learn from the facilitators but also from each other, enriching the journey towards self-awareness and inner harmony.

To participate in every opportunity, practice, excursion, game and event we have carefully curated for your comfort and growth, but Everything is always optional. This is your time to explore, knowing that the team of facilitators, educators and guides at Zoetic are standing by with flashlights to point the way out if you need that, or rather to point the way in.

Your mind can be your most melodic instrument and the sharpest tool in your toolbox with a little Practice. Come grow your knowledge of yourself and learn techniques to better know and play your best instrument. Learn how to wield and care for the invaluable tool you have in your mind.

All people, of all ages, backgrounds, dispositions welcome. You must bring with you enough Kindness and Curiosity to share with others. If you are in short supply you are still welcome but invited to explore the definition of Active Listening. This retreat will be a cozy group of 6 people who have come together in kindness & curiosity to explore what is to be known with our minds and through our senses.
